As the care home Manager and Owner, Elaine Bismor is a very hand’s on Manager who believes that a Care home should feel warm, inviting and most importantly that every resident should feel at home and comfortable within the home. Elaine has worked at the Old Coach House for 32 years and owned the home with her family for 10 years. Her previous role was as a nurse at Hull Royal Infirmary spending her whole working career caring for people. In her job role Elaine has the overall responsibility for the smooth running of the home and to make sure the residents are receiving the best care possible at all times. Elaine also manages the staff and ensuring that The Old Coach House meets and exceeds the various demands of inspection and all regulations. Elaine has a string qualifications including but not limited to: ​ NVQ’s in health and social care level 4 City and Guilds Registered Manager Award Level 4 End of life Care Level 5 Safeguarding of Adults Various dementia awareness courses She is also our dignity champion for the home

Job Title: Deputy Manager

​Sharon has worked at the home since 1994, she first started working at the home as a domestic assistant and progressed to deputy Manager will all hardwork over the years. Sharon’s warm nature and caring manner puts residents and colleagues instantly at ease, she is always someone to chat with, and relatives see her as the source of all knowledge on how their loved one is doing. She has a NVQ in health and social care level 4 and City and Guilds Registered Manager Award Level 4 as well as various dementia and safeguarding courses. Plus many more courses that help her give the important personalized care to all our residents every day. Sharon always delivers outstanding care for our residents, reassures and helps their relatives and guides our staff through they working day. ​ Specialisms
